Dimulai dari ubahan pada sektor mesin. Pada area dapur pacu ini, Erfan melakukan pergantian mesin standar dengan mesin berteknologi MST (Mechanical Sport Technic) built-on dari BMW Jerman. Pergantian mesin ini sontak meningkatkan kapasitas mesin dari 3000cc menjadi 3500cc. Di bagian ekterior, body mengalami perombakan total dari sebelumnya bergaya M39 menjadi M60. Selama kurang lebih dua tahun dalam melakukan perombakan mobil ini dan mengalami beberapa kali perubahan konsep, akhirnya Erfan dan sang ayah memutuskan untuk menggunakan bahan full plat pada seluruh body mobil tanpa unsur fiber sama sekali kecuali pada bagian bumper, roof spoiler dan ducktail. Selain perubahan pada mesin dan body, cat pada mobil BMW ini pun berubah. " Untuk cat saya menggunakan merk SPIES HECKER dengan pilihan warna "Magic Black" yang terlihat berwarna hitam pada malam hari dan coklat pada siang harinya " kata Erfan menjelaskan. Semua tahap pengecatan ditambahkan Erfan lagi dilakukan dengan menggunakan system oven. Selain itu,ubahan eksterior juga dilakukan pada bagian velg dan knalpot. Velg menggunakan ring berukuran 22 inci full chrome merk VIP STATUS dengan tipe Myrtle Devias terbaru. Dan pada knalpot menggunakan full system dari header, center pipe dan variasi pada ujung knalpot full chrome merk D.A.D. Setelah melakukan perubahan pada bagian eksterior, bagian interior juga terkena perombakan. Niuansa elegan dan eksklusif langusung terasa ketika melihat bagian dalam mobil BMW ini. Pertama ialah bagian dashboard, konsep elegan hasil perpaduan mobil Jepang dan Eropa dengan tambahan sebuah minibar modifikasi model garson berbahan akrilik dan penambahan bulu-bulu lembut diatas dashboard dan tambahan aksesoris dari garson berupa pernak-pernik Swarovski pada lubang ac. Pada bagian door trim, jok, plafon dan lantai diganti secara keseluruhan menggunakan bahan dari MBTech, yang menambah kesan elegan pada mobil ini. Untuk stir sendiri, stir asli BMW E36 dipotong dan diganti dengan wood panel yang di bekleed dengan bahan MBTech dan tambahan berupa tombol-tombol dari bahan kevlar dan diberi logo Crown Junction dari D.A.D. Nuansa sporty yang mengalir deras di mobil Ferrari nampaknya tak membuat Julius sebagai pengguna Ferrari 550 Maranello buatan tahun 2004 merasakan aroma sporty yang benar-benar ia mau, malah ia beranggapan kalau aslinya mobil ini masih mengandung sedikit nuansa elegant. Adapun bagian-bagian yang telah ia rubah meliputi eksterior, interior hingga penambahan beberapa komponen untuk kinerja yang lebih kuat. Meski sudah berubah, ciri khas dari mobil asal Italia tersebut masih bisa dikenali, jadi tak salah bila tim juri Autoblackthrough Surabaya 2011 menetapkan mobil Julius sebagai pemegang gelar The King Nominee Autoblackthrough Surabaya 2011. "Yang pasti senang ini pertama kali dapat King Nominee jadi bangga, ngak nyangka banget soalnya persaingannya ketat ya enggak nyangkalah", demikianlah ucapan Julius ketika ditanya mengenai perasaannya mobilnya terpilih sebagai satu dari empat king nominee ABT Surabaya 2011. Street Racing merupakan tema yang dipilih Julius, guna melampiaskan keinginannya mempunyai mobil dengan nuansa 100 persen sporty. Dia memperkirakan sudah sekitar 75 persen yang telah berubah dari bentuk standar mobil ini, perhatikan bagian luarnya, masih mengusung warna khas Ferrari yakni merah dan hitam, Julius menambahkan beberapa komponen yang membuat mobil ini tampak sedikit melebar seperti bemper, lip spoiler, side skirts dan tak ketinggalan guna menghadirkan nuansa sporty disematkan stiker, sayap belakang dari F550 GT, diffuser, cover spion dari bahan karbon, desain ulang kap mesin dan masih banyak lagi. Bagian roda, tampaknya Julius masih mengandalkan velg asli Ferrari begitu juga untuk bagian master rem. Cukup dibagian luar, kini giliran bagian interior disini jelas sekali terlihat nuansa sporty melalui beberapa perangkat seperti jok, lingkar kemudi dan sebagainya. Agar tampilan dalam lebih menarik disematkan bahan karbon merah di dinding pintu, dan dashboard. Sebagai saran dari sang ayah, dibagian dalam mobil terpasang perangkat-perangkat audio car tepat dibelakang jok dengan tambahan lampu led agar terlihat lebih menawan. The industrial design firm Mike and Maaike, which worked on such products as the Xbox and the HTC G1 phone, has turned its sights towards the car, reenvision ing it as a living room on wheels. In an article for Core77 design magazine titled "The End of Driving: Mike and Maaike introduce the Autonomobile," the designers suggest people don't really want to drive, and could better spend their time on the road sleeping, working, or getting drunk. And they emphasize that last point. According to the design team, the modern automobile has been obssessed with power, styling and fantasy. Far away from our true needs, future cars should be redefined by shifting from being fast and gorgeous, to being … green and self driven. So no more Frazer-Nash Namirs, Zonda Cinque Roadsters or Lamborghini Gallardos, it’s time to meet the ATNMBL. The solar electric Autonomobile looks like a mobile living room that you whistle for and it takes you to destination, even though it’s not meant to see daylight before 2040. Of course, the only driving they are considering is commuting and making grocery runs. As such, their Autonomobile does its own driving and navigation, asking its riders upon entry "Where can I take you?" As we've seen in past DARPA robotic car competitions, driverless car technology is being developed. The Autonomobile is designed as an electric car using four in-wheel motors, a battery pack in the floor, and a solar roof for additional power generation. There is no real-world concept for the Autonomobile; it only lives in renderings. But from the images, the designers seem to have left out suspension components, possibly imagining the roads of the future will be perfectly smooth. Likewise, with its couch and floo r-to-ceiling glass on each side, the Autonomobile wouldn't pass current automotive safety standards, but the implicit prognostication seems to be that driverless cars won't crash. And, considering that glass, people of the future will all be exhibitionists, not desiring privacy for their drunken trips.

BLUE-WILL 2009 hyundai Concept Car

Hyundai has revealed the first pictures of an innovative plug-in hybrid concept car, Blue-Will. Due to be revealed at the Seoul Motor Show which opens on April 2nd, the “BLUE-WILL”, has exceptionally advanced technology crammed inside its striking bodyshell. The BLUE-WILL concept is powered by an all-aluminium Gasoline Direct Injected 1.6-litre engine which is coupled to a Continuously Variable Transmission and a 100kw electric motor which is at the heart of Hyundai`s parallel hybrid drive architecture. The Blue-Will with its plug-in 30 kilowatt electric motor and 1.6-litre petrol range extender has shades of Prius about its front end but get used to it. The Electric power, stored by a Lithium Ion Polymer battery pack, is neatly bundled with the fuel tank under the rear seat to maximise luggage space. That includes some solar cells on the panoramic roof, which you can still see through, and some eco-friendly plastics throughout, including headlamp bezels made from recycled plastic bottles, and other plastics derived from plant extracts. No word about it actually going into production.

Calamaro Audi Concept Flying Car

In response to Porsche Hungary’s design competition Tibor has come up with a ‘flying’ concept car obviously intended for the very distant future. The designer tells us that the shape was inspired by the skeleton of a cuttlefish which gives is a look halfway between a sports car and a speed boat. Some existing Audi styling cues can be seen such as the huge air intake which approximates the shape of the radiator grill on modern Audi automobiles. The Calamaro is supposed to run on ‘clean fuels’ but its not clear how since the air intake isn’t connected to anything and there seems to be no visible means of propulsion — or flight — or anything else! Having said that it does look pretty sensational.

2009 Lagonda Aston Martin Concept Car

The Aston Martin Lagonda Concept that appeared at Geneva Motor Show this year is unlikely to morph into a production car, according to reports. Ever since its purchase by Aston Martin in 1947, the Lagonda brand has played second fiddle to the firm's sports cars. That may well change, as Aston Martin's announced it intends to revive the brand, offering this - the 2009 Lagonda concept - as proof of its intent. Certainly, it doesn't look like an Aston Martin, but apart from the 1964 Rapide (built from the Aston Martin DB4) and seven sedans built from the 1975 DBS coupe, few ever have. Some, like the wildly angular 1976 model, have pushed the envelope of automotive styling. Aston calls the Lagonda a "four-seat international tourer," which we take to mean as a crossover. Indeed, the Lagonda is an all-wheel-drive vehicle, and its short overhangs, tall stance, and large 22-inch wheels suggest it's made to traverse surfaces other than tarmac. We're told the concept uses a V-12 for power; we'd guess it's the same 6.0-liter V-12 found in the DB9. While the vehicle looks like a Chinese knock-off of a Bentley Conti GT, a Chrysler 300, the Land Rover LRX concept, and an AM Rapide it is supposed to be a Lagonda. Aston Martin is trying to postition the Langonda brand as a less-sporty, more luxurious marque that will appeal to the wealthy elite in established and emerging markets. Currently, Aston is only sold in 34 countries but CEO Dr. Bez hopes to offer Lagonda in over 100. Lastly, the taillights look like they could have been the work of Peter Schreyer. Yes, they’re so attractive that they are befitting a Kia. Although many may critisize the choice of producing a 4WD CUV/SAC/SUV/SAV, Russian oil barons and Chinese sweatshop owners are surely delighted at the prospect of a high-end vehicle they can use year ’round. Especially if it will help to differentiate them from the simpleton Cayenne and X6 owners. Perhaps Aston Martin and Lagonda haven’t made as much of a mistake as the automotive media would have you believe.
